Annual Plant Species of the Borrego Desert: Seedling and Flower Pictures

This is a start of a page containing what we call Baby Pictures of the seedlings, very young plants, of these annuals, as well as pictures of the flowers in their prime. Since the page was just created on 20 January 2012, for some time it will mostly just contain the list of the 175 annual species we've observed in bloom as part of our Bloom Reports pages from 2008 to early 2012.
If a thumbnail picture is shown, click on it to get a larger version. Many pix are not yet present, but for convenience in adding them in the future we've left the links in. So you will see a lot of "missing pictures" on this page. As of 31 January 2016, there are 144 pix of plants in bloom (and 31 missing pix), and 20 baby pix (and 155 missing).

The column #O gives the number of times we've recorded each species in bloom from 2008 to early 2012, and so gives a good idea of how frequently you are likely to see that species in bloom in the Borrego Desert below 3000 feet elevation, from October through roughly March.
