Fallbrook Youth Fair

The Optimist Club of Fallbrook began the Youth Fair in 1955 or 1956 to do something for the youth of the community. The Youth Fair is primarily a "dry run" for the Del Mar Fair, concentrating on showing 4-H animals and plants. It also includes fair-type booths offering games, face-painting and selling food, as well as a free Concert on the Green at the high school's amphitheater by the High School Marching Warriors band.

Art exhibits by the children in local preschools and schools are on display in the gymnasium, with awards given. Also, products produced by students in art work, drafting, wood work and metal work classes are displayed and judged.

Children can also sign up for Pop Warner football and soccer leagues.

The fair runs 8-4 on both Saturday and Sunday.
