Plant Species of San Jacinto Mountain: Pictures of Some Similar-looking Young Plants
This page contains some pictures of young rosettes and basal leaves of some species that appear somewhat similar, primarily for our use in remembering what each of these species looks like.
The first set of pictures are of non-blooming plants. The second set gives pictures of (mostly) the same, or nearby, plants in bloom or bud, confirming the identification of the rosettes. Some species are not present in the second set, but are instead linked to a full page of pictures from the pictures in the first set.
