Checklist of the Vascular Flora of the Cactus Spring Trail, Santa Rosa Mountains This is a checklist of all the species found as of 8 October 2016 on the Cactus Spring Trail, from its beginning at the Sawmill Trail Parking Lot to the wash just beyond Cactus Spring. This checklist also includes four species that are vouchered from this trail, but which have not yet been seen on the trail in my fieldwork. The voucher data were provided by the participants of the the Consortium of California Herbaria.
See Plant Guide to Cactus Spring Trail for an introduction to this trail, and for the Plant Trail Guide with plants in geographic order found along the trail.
An asterisk before the common name indicates a non-native species.
The column #Pls gives the number of plants on and in the area of the Cactus Spring Trail, up to a maximum of 99 plants. These numbers are usually only estimates, and serve primarily to indicate which species are rare on this trail. An x in this column indicates that no estimate has yet been made of the abundance for that taxon. A V in this column indicates a species that is vouchered from the trail that we have not yet seen.
