Flora of Uppermost Box Canyon Road near I-10, Riverside County
Introduction This flora is compiled from vouchers and from unreviewed iNat observations, as of 16 January 2020, with an additional six species from a brief survey on 17 January 2020 by the authors.
Vouchers and Inat were each searched using the following rectangle: 33.63 to 33.66° N. Latitude, and -115.82 to -115.78 E. Longitude. This rectangle roughly extends from I-10 south to the north base of the Orocopia Mountains, and about the same distance east-west, centered on the longitude where Box Canyon Road meets I-10.
Voucher localities were reviewed, and ones with vague localities were tossed.
iNat observations with extremely large position uncertainties were tossed, as well as ones with obscured coordinates.
