Analysis of the Number of Plants on the Mt. Wilson Toll Road / Horse Trail Loop, Eaton Canyon, San Gabriel Mountains

The number of both native and non-native species on this route is fairly average amongst our trails. The plants on this trail are represented by the pink solid rectangle in the plots below.

The percentage of native plants is just a bit lower than the average for the elevation here:

The number of native taxa is a bit lower than what would be expected here, but that is perhaps due to the small number of visits we have made to this trail, as well as the lack of visits during the peak bloom period:

The number of non-native taxa is about what is expected for this elevation. Many of the points with fewer non-native taxa are from higher altitude trails (see the first plot above).
