View From Telegraph Mountain

The following plot shows the calculated elevation and azimuthal angles to selected peaks as seen from Telegraph Mountain. Not every visible feature is plotted. All labeled features are visible if the atmosphere is clear enough, except possibly for Toro and Cuyamaca Peaks. I observed the other labeled peaks on 10/23/99. Baldy, at a towering angle of 3.5° for its peak at an azimuth of 305°, and similarly large angles for its shoulders, blocks all of the peaks such as Mt. Islip, etc. plotted on the right hand side of the plot at azimuths beyond 275°.
